I am not a very patriotic person, but when I get to dress cute AND patriotic, I’m going to roll with it. Especially when you are staying at the oldest seaside resort in the county where former presidents used to stay on vacation, that is quite literally named CONGRESS HALL.
This dress was made the exact same way as my high-low dress that I posted about earlier. the only difference is that this fabric was not double sided so I bought a navy blue cotton to line the inside of the back panel of the skirt.
I sewed the right sides together, and then flipped it inside out so the bottom seam would be finished.
The only downside of there being red in the star pattern is that it made my lobster red sunburn on my chest really pop when I wore it.
